The apartment at the Colosseum, Domiziano house, is located a few metrs from the famous monument, in fact just outside the main door you may admire the wonderful façade of the Colosseum. It is located on the first floor of an ancient ‘800 century building, it is 90 square metres and consists in a large and pleasant dining and living area with double sofa bedrooms , kitchen, two bedrooms; the first with King size bed and the other one with double bed and two bathrooms. The large windows make the house very bright and from them you can see a part of the wonderful Colosseum. The apartment is located just a few metres from the Colosseum and the Metro station, from where you can reach most tourist areas in Rome.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay Domiziano apartment. It was comfortable and clean and in a great location. We were able to walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit and the metro was only a five minute walk away when further travel was required. Lots of good restaurants, a small supermaket and ATM in the immediate vicinity. The contact was easy to contact and willing to help. Lots of useful tourist information in the apartment. We would book here again should we return to Rome.
We stayed at this apartment for 6 nights in March 2011. The apartment was spacious and bright. It could have been outfitted better with such amenities as a coffee pot and a better selection of knives and other kitchen equipment. However, the location and the fact it is so bright and welcoming - as well as extremely quite - make up for any shortcomings. It is in a very accessible area - right on the metro line as well as many bus lines - making it most convenient. In addition, the area has plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets nearby, saving you lots of money. We found the owner to be most accommodating. We were able to use his MiFi to receive internet the whole time we were there and in fact, we could pick up strong internet signals from nearby restaurants if needed. At one point there was an issue with a steady supply of hot water and the owner tried to fix it. When he could not, he offered our final night for free. On our final day, we were able to leave our luggage in the apartment until 3PM since the apartment was not rented. I would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future.
This apartment was great and Luca was very responsive and helpful. We were here for a month with 3 adults and 3 children ages 10 - 13. There was plenty of space and we were very comfortable. There is a nice queen bed in the master br a serviceable double in the 2nd br, a nice queen size pullout couch and we used a decent small cot for one of the children. The apartment has a nice older aesthetic with high ceilings and other touches. There are two bathrooms but one of them is basically a half bath. The half bath can be used as a very funky shower but we did not use it for that. There are some very tiny balconies that can be used to grab some fresh air but have no practical use so there is no real outdoor presence here. The apartment is very quiet overall except for the pigeon goings on in the morning by the 2nd BR window. It is a walk-up to the third floor. We enjoyed the exercise to work off the pasta but might not be right for elderly. The location is fantastic if you are here for sightseeing and it has easy access to public transport. It is walking distance to many important historical sites. The immediate neighborhood is pretty bland overall with a handful of tourist restaurants (except for the lively gay bar down the street). The best neighborhood near here is just on the other side of Via Cavour. Go to San Pietro Vincoli church, walk down the steps in the wall, cross Cavour, go down the steps, take a left to Via's Bochetto and Serpenti. Some great Italian restaurants, also a decent take-out Japanese place and a number of Indian restaurants, also an inexpensive but decent Chinese place on Cavour (all important if you get tired of the endless pasta/pizza clones littering every block in Rome). Forget about shopping in central Rome for young teens so do yourself and favor and take the Metro to EUR Fermi and then take the 70, 700 or 709 bus to the Euroma2 shopping Mall. You can grab the 85 or the 87 to get to the popular hang outs like Piazza Novona or Campo Fiori. The 571 takes you to the Vatican. The big nightclubs are over on Via di Monte Testaccio (the 75 or the 3 but not late at night).
the contact with the owner was perfect, everything in the apartment was clean and in good condition. We are satisfied, and our stay was excellent. The location of the apartment was perfect, near to the coliseum and with very nice restaurants nearby.
I love this apartament, i have been with my husband and 3 kids, it is quite good location and fully equipped, Luca is very efficient for all our request. I reccomanded it
