The view is exactly like the pictures. The apartment was as clean as depicted in the pictures. The owner was very pleasant and accomidating. He appears fluent in english. We had a great time and this apartment was well worth they money. It was a block away from the main train station and bus stop. You could get to this apartment from the airport without a taxi. The downfalls are as follows: no internet, no AC, no telephone, and it was on the second floor with enough steps to make it the third floor. There is abundant restaurants within 10 feet of the door. Many of the restaurants offer wifi for free. We never were in the apartment except after 8pm and the breeze that went through was as cool as any AC. A telephone for incoming calls would have been nice. The street was very busy with activity yet we always felt safe. The apartment was on the back side and very little of the noise was heard during the night. We parked on the streets in the area and never had a problem. If you are independent and do not need a front desk to ask alot of questions; if your want to live in the heart of the community; this is the place. It has all the resources in a 1 block radius like: a grocery store, fruit market, bike rental, and multiple cafe's. I would definetly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We stayed at this apartment for 6 nights in March 2011. The apartment was spacious and bright. It could have been outfitted better with such amenities as a coffee pot and a better selection of knives and other kitchen equipment. However, the location and the fact it is so bright and welcoming - as well as extremely quite - make up for any shortcomings. It is in a very accessible area - right on the metro line as well as many bus lines - making it most convenient. In addition, the area has plenty of restaurants and two supermarkets nearby, saving you lots of money. We found the owner to be most accommodating. We were able to use his MiFi to receive internet the whole time we were there and in fact, we could pick up strong internet signals from nearby restaurants if needed. At one point there was an issue with a steady supply of hot water and the owner tried to fix it. When he could not, he offered our final night for free. On our final day, we were able to leave our luggage in the apartment until 3PM since the apartment was not rented. I would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future.

This apartment was great and Luca was very responsive and helpful. We were here for a month with 3 adults and 3 children ages 10 - 13. There was plenty of space and we were very comfortable. There is a nice queen bed in the master br a serviceable double in the 2nd br, a nice queen size pullout couch and we used a decent small cot for one of the children. The apartment has a nice older aesthetic with high ceilings and other touches. There are two bathrooms but one of them is basically a half bath. The half bath can be used as a very funky shower but we did not use it for that. There are some very tiny balconies that can be used to grab some fresh air but have no practical use so there is no real outdoor presence here. The apartment is very quiet overall except for the pigeon goings on in the morning by the 2nd BR window. It is a walk-up to the third floor. We enjoyed the exercise to work off the pasta but might not be right for elderly. The location is fantastic if you are here for sightseeing and it has easy access to public transport. It is walking distance to many important historical sites. The immediate neighborhood is pretty bland overall with a handful of tourist restaurants (except for the lively gay bar down the street). The best neighborhood near here is just on the other side of Via Cavour. Go to San Pietro Vincoli church, walk down the steps in the wall, cross Cavour, go down the steps, take a left to Via's Bochetto and Serpenti. Some great Italian restaurants, also a decent take-out Japanese place and a number of Indian restaurants, also an inexpensive but decent Chinese place on Cavour (all important if you get tired of the endless pasta/pizza clones littering every block in Rome). Forget about shopping in central Rome for young teens so do yourself and favor and take the Metro to EUR Fermi and then take the 70, 700 or 709 bus to the Euroma2 shopping Mall. You can grab the 85 or the 87 to get to the popular hang outs like Piazza Novona or Campo Fiori. The 571 takes you to the Vatican. The big nightclubs are over on Via di Monte Testaccio (the 75 or the 3 but not late at night).

Brilliant location, just in front the Colosseo square and 3 minutes walk to Colosseo Metro. Small supermarket across the street , great cafe next door. Chic and well equiped apartment. Private & quiet. Perfect for family

First of all we'd like to thank you for your promp reply in our search for accomodation in Rome. We were really out of time and getting in contact by e-mail was quite difficult especailly because it was Sunday, but thanks to you we managed to get in touch immediately and chose Casa Domiziano for our stay in Rome. The flat being so close to the center we had no difficulties in going around and the spacious rooms were more than we could have imagined. We felt not like tourists but more like inhabitants in Rome, also the neighbours were quite helpful and there was a supermarket just behind the corner.. Everything was excellent, we hope to get back some day and live again this experience. Thank you for all the attention and the great services. We'll recommend you to all our friends who are searching for a place to stay in Rome. Nice to have met you, thanks again and hope to get back soon! Best regards, Semra
